Emily Kanner is a designer and project manager based in Brooklyn, New York. She holds both a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Architecture from Tulane University. Before founding KDW, Emily gained valuable experience at a small Brooklyn-based architecture studio and later became a construction manager. Her work as a construction manager and project manager for a Brooklyn-based contractor has given her a unique expertise in job sites, blending her passion for design with hands-on knowledge of construction. Emily’s love for the design-build process inspired her to establish KDW, where she brings together her education, professional experience, and deep understanding of architecture and interior design to create thoughtful, cohesive spaces. Her work reflects a profound appreciation for how things come together and a closeness to the material aspects of design.
